INTRODUCTION

The department of Mathematics was introduced in Sao Chang College in the year 2005. The Department is sanctioned under Higher Education Government of Nagaland and affiliated to Nagaland University. The Department offers undergraduate general course in Mathematics.

VISION

To establish a reputation as a centre for learning and teaching in Mathematics.

MISSION

·        To create a consistent interest in the subject by displaying the importance of practical application of Mathematics in everyday life.

·        To motivate the students in upgrading their interest in contemporary mathematical techniques.

·        To strengthen the students analytical abilities in the field of Mathematics.
